The first Black Fashion Week Montreal (May 16th-17th, 2013) was enthusiastically welcomed. The bold fashion designer Adama Paris took back her fashion shows producer’s cap.
Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church was crowded; more than 1,800 fashion-savvy guests came to appreciate the contemporary black creation beyond African borders. The place, a romantic church endowed with a façade inspired by the architecture of Italian Renaissance lends itself so well for wedding celebrations.
